Heritage Apple Tasting @ Pettys Orchard

The Heritage Fruits Society invites you to this Apple Tasting at the HFS Heritage Fruit Collection, within Petty's Orchard in Templestowe. You will experience the rich, distinctive and unique flavours of about fifteen seasonal apple varieties, selected from the almost three-hundred HFS maintains in the Collection. These will be mid-season apples, originating from a range of countries and eras - a world apart from today's commercial apples!
 
As part of this event, we'll also take you for an explanatory walking tour through the Collection. And before you head home, you'll have a chance to purchase our apples (subject to availability) for just $5 per 1.5kg bag. The entire event will run for about two hours.  

Further details will be sent by email after registration and payment are completed. All funds received go toward the maintenance and expansion of the Collection and its facilities by HFS.
